In this one-time class, students will be introduced to angles. They will learn "What is an angle." They will learn the difference between right, obtuse, and acute angles. Students will learn how to identify an angle by looking at the degree of the angle. By learning that a 90-degree angle is a right angle, they will then be able to identify what an angle is that is larger or smaller than 90 degrees. 
Students will be introduced to straight angles and revolution angles. We will then play a game using pictures and the students can identify what angles they see in each picture. 
I will provide a worksheet that will be posted in the Outschool classroom for students to print and bring to class that we will do in class together. 

** Please have students bring pencil and paper to class along with the class print off (if able to print).

Hello!! Welcome to my classroom! My name is Ms. Jill and I am very excited to teach your learner. I am a mom of 2 boys, two dogs and a bunny. I have a passion for teaching and love to make learning fun. My favorite topics to teach include math, science, and crafting. If I'm not at the baseball park watching one of my boys playing baseball, which it pretty much a majority of my evenings and weekends, I love reading, gardening, crafting, and learning. 

I have over 3 years of teaching experience online teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to children all over the world. I earned the TESOL certificate while working as an ESL teacher. I was a homeschooling mom to both my boys for a little over 4 years and taught all subjects in grades 2 through 7. I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Administration 

I am so excited to teach your learner many new things while having a great time in the classroom together.
