Students will be taught how to make a digital Woodland Scene using 40+ pieces to choose from on a personal digital play mat that can be copied and manipulated in Google Slides. Pieces include: many foxes, bear, rabbit, butterflies, wolf, porcupine, mushrooms, trees, plants, acorn, flowers, tree stump, hills, bushes, leaves, and a moon. This class is not cut and paste with scissors and glue, it is a "digital" art craft. It is technical and requires the student to be able to access the American English version of Google Slides, use a computer mouse or touchpad and keyboard, and locate and click on words like, "Arrange", "Format options", "Backwards", and "Rotation". I will teach where the Google Slides tools are, what they mean, and how to use them to manipulate the pieces into a beautiful Woodland Scene for you to keep, print in high resolution, add to your graphic design portfolio, and share. Take the class again and again to create new Woodland Scene designs.

I have a college degree in Elementary Education with an Art minor. I earned U.S.A. teaching certificates in Hawaii, Arizona, and Utah. I've taught 7th grade English Literature, 5th grade elementary school, after school programs, swimming lessons, summer school, jewelry making, and digital art. I've privately tutored Reading, Writing, Math, and Google Slides Presentations/Slideshows.
I took a break from full-time teaching to raise a family. Currently, I'm a Special Education para-professional and help elementary students with a variety of special needs achieve their goals in both academics and behaviors.
I have lived in Florida, Utah, Hawaii, Arizona, Brazil, and Jerusalem, and explored Egypt, Israel, Canada, Mexico, and many of the United States of America. Other than English I speak a bit of Portuguese, Hawaiian Pidgin English, Pig Latin, and American Sign Language.
I love mind games, word games, illusions, weird facts, current events, children's literature, Adobe Photoshop, old photos, macro photography, art of all kinds, Hawaii, the ocean, sea life, ukulele and guitar music, quilt designs, graphics, flowers, birds, swimming, watercolor, Zentangles, calligraphy, and fonts. For fun I like to freeze dry food, restore old photos digitally in Adobe Photoshop, and create digital art.
I love to learn and to teach what I've learned.
