Goal setting can be incredibly helpful in achieving our dreams. We will begin with discussing powerful ways to create a goal. Is it a small, bite-size goal or is it a big goal that might take more time and steps to reach? Each student will create a list of goals for themselves and have an opportunity to share if they feel comfortable. We will then work on creating a vision board based on the goals they listed. While they create their boards, we will be discussing how images can help you see the goal and keep up motivation to work towards the goal. Students will have an opportunity to share their board if they feel comfortable. 
Goals can be personal, maybe wanting to be able to run a mile or to be able to touch your toes. Maybe it's to read more books or to practice the guitar for five minutes everyday. Goals can help us learn a new skill, perhaps you want to learn archery or how to sew a pillow. Goals can help us with habits like drinking water everyday or getting more regular sleep. 
Paper and pen will be needed to first write your goals.
Magazines, pictures, words, drawings, stickers will be needed to create your board.

Magazines or other media with images and words the student can cut out and paste to their board

Markers, pens, crayons for any writing or drawings the student may want to add
