Come and join some workout fun with your new workout buddies! For this ongoing fitness class, we will complete a full body workout. Students will have the opportunity to participate in cardio and strength exercises along with stretches/yoga poses. Students will also learn the developing body awareness, motor skills, coordination, flexibility and motivation. Each routine will offer modified techniques for those who may need it. I will demonstrate each exercise move and the modification. Students will be exposed to exercises/movements that will target the body and heart rate. We will participate in exercises that will get our heart rate going and excited. During our discussion, we will discuss: What is health? Why is our health important? What we can do to stay health? How can we encourage our friends to get health? What are other way to get healthy? Why is working out good? What does working out do for the body? Class will begin with an icebreaker, this will allow everyone to get comfortable and familiar with one another. Students are encouraged to participate in the icebreaker and other conversation throughout class. This class is perfect for students who is looking for a workout buddy and to be held accountable in a fun and exciting way. We will begin and end class with stretching. At the close of class, everyone will place their hands on their heart and recite a positive affirmation. Positive affirmation is a perfect way help eliminate negative thoughts and instill positive ones. Class breakdown is below: (please note that this class does not present new materials each week) There is no workout equipment needed, we will use our full body to exercise. Please note that students will need a small space to exercise. Also, please have water handy; we will take breaks when needed.
