**Please note that this escape room includes math questions that may not be of the escape room themed. Your child will still practice fun math problems along with a great story telling experience** ** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions** Welcome to The Gingerbread Man Escape Room! Please note that due to the fact that this is a guided story escape room students will not choose an item as the story is in storymode “ Once upon a time, there lived a little old woman and a little old man. One day, the little old woman made a gingerbread man. When she opened the oven, the gingerbread man jumped off the baking tray and ran out of the house and then…!” In this class students will be using their alphabet knowledge to help the Gingerbread Man get back to safety. This escape room lets young learners practice their letters while having fun. Students will match sight words, match the sounds with items, okay fun games such I spy and much more while learning. This is a guided escape room where the teacher will show the screen and guide the students into math questions that students will take turns answering in order to help the Gingerbread man escape from everyone who wants to eat him. Please know that if there’s too much background noise students will be muted and then asked to be unmuted. If your child does not know how to unmute please make sure that you are next to them but away from the camera as per Outschool policy. CLASS REQUIREMENTS: -Students must know how to count to 10 -Students must know their sounds such as the Letter A makes the “aa” sound -Be able to identify shadow shapes -be able to identify words with images, such as “Which item represents a cat?” **WE WANT ALL KIDS TO HAVE FUN SO CHILDREN WILL BE TAKING TURNS WHILE SOLVING MATH PROBLEMS AND FUN ACTIVITIES** IF STUDENTS ESCAPE WITH TIME THEY WILL BE PLAYING A FUN GAME OF MATH WITH THE TEACHER SHARING THE SCREEN AND WILL ALSO BE HAVING A FUN SHOW AND TELL

Dazzling Minds Academy specializes in escape rooms and math classes where students will use their critical thinking skills in both math and decoding ciphers to ensure that students learn while having fun.
Up to now, Dazzling Minds Academy, has served over 6,900 students in both live and flex classes. Our flex classes offers prerecorded instruction where each child can follow along with Teacher Erika to ensure that every objective is fully understood. Our live classes are filled with fun mysteries decoding ciphers and fun technology use such as Kahoot.
Dazzling Minds Academy offers all types of classes; Flex, One-Time, Ongoing and Multiday to ensure that parents choose the best option for their child.
All courses are designed by Teacher Erika and taught by highly qualified teachers that are excited to teach and ensure that every child has fun while learning.
Dazzling Minds Academy vision is to ensure that every child learns by having fun. Our escape rooms are fun, yet challenging and our math classes are carefully prepared to ensure each child learns the objective. We offer over 60 flex classes of Math, Writing, Grammar full curriculum PDF journals as well as fun classes with decoding ciphers

ERIKA: Founder of Dazzling Minds Academy and Math teacher for over 8 years in the middle school setting. Prior to that, I was a teacher aide with all grade levels in the elementary setting. I have taught with VIPKids and have tutored kids for over 15 years.
