In this ongoing class, we will meet three times a week. On Monday's we will focus on number songs, Wednesdays we will practice phonics blending to read CVC words and Friday's will be story time.
Each class, we will begin by singing a hello song to all of the students. This will then be followed by a days of the week song and completing our class calendar. We will also discuss what the weather is like where we each live. 

In the Math focus class, we will practice a different number song each week, practice number recognition and early addition and subtraction skills through the song.

In the phonics based class, we will begin to blend different sounds to read CVC words. Each week we will focus on words including the following sounds:
a, i, n, m, d, g, o, c, k, ck, e, u, r, h, b, f, ff, l, ll, ss (one sound/consonant blend per week) 
Students will get an opportunity to practice the formation of letters and write CVC words.

In the story time class, I will read a different story each week to the children and the children will be asked questions, such as who, what, why, when, where and how to develop their listening and speaking skills. We will also complete a short craft or coloring related to the story.

Each class will end with a goodbye song.
These classes are fun and multi sensory to try and keep little learners as engaged as possible :-)
