Fractions is a HUGE and often intimidating topic! This course takes a slow pace with the mindset of understanding in a marathon rather than sprint format. Every week we will start off with a number sense activity reviewing vital skills for understanding fractions. More specifically, skills that include factoring, multiplication and division facts, etc. Following the warm up activity a the main 15 to 20 minute lesson will follow, followed by an interactive practice session for students to...
