The "Foundations in Design Thinking" bootcamp introduces students to the fundamental principles of design thinking, a process for creatively solving problems and meeting people’s needs. Students will explore the connection between empathy and creativity and gain hands-on experience through engaging design challenges. For six exciting lessons, students will cultivate essential design mindsets, hone ethical self-awareness, and build a thinking toolbox. Students will master three distinct challenges that allow students to: -Learn and apply key mindsets and specific design strategies. -Develop self-awareness as responsible and ethical designers. -Build a design thinking toolbox to bring ideas to life. The course is structured around three main challenges, each aimed at progressively deepening students' understanding and application of design thinking principles. Every day features live instruction from a credentialed expert, interactive activities, and peer collaboration opportunities. Students also receive daily feedback and complete graded assignments to reinforce their learning.
