FLEX - El ballet de cerditas más Peppa

If you enjoy that Peppa-iest pig, you will love this class! This is a flex class therefore we will not meet live, learners will be sent videos and be encouraged to send Miss Joice a video. 

This class is a 6 week course where students will learn the basics of ballet dance. It is the perfect way to mix the entertainment of a favorite tv show with some gross motor skills. We will learn, dance to a lot of upbeat music from the show and more.  We will learn the five foot positions, five arm positions and some ballet terminology all while dancing, exercising, and physically moving. Throughout dancing, they will review preschool basics such as letters, numbers, animals and everyday items throughout the class. 

Each week learners will receive a video to follow as we learn new ballet steps. After class, learners will be given a show and tell assignment as well as an activity sheet to work on to continue the learning process. Learners are encouraged to send Miss Joice a video sharing their show and tell item, their new ballet movements as well as showing their activity sheet. Miss Joice will always reply to these videos. 

Each week we will warm up to Jumping Up and Down in Muddy Puddles, stretch our bodies and:
Week 1: Saute in first position. Letter P & Number 1. Peppa Pig. Show and tell item: Item that begins with the letter P or 1 of anything!
Week 2: Arabesque. Letter M & Number 2. Mommy Pig. Show and tell item: Item that begins with the letter M or 2 of anything!
Week 3: Arabesque hops. Letter R & Number 3. Rebecca Rabbit. Show and tell item: Item that begins with the letter R or 3 of anything!
Week 4: Temps Lie. Letter Z & Number 4. Zoey Zebra. Show and tell item: Item that begins with the letter Z or 4 of anything!
Week 5: Echappe. Letter H & Number 5. Miss Hamster. Show and tell item: Item that begins with the letter H or 5 of anything!
Week 6: Bourre turn. Letter G & Number 6. Show and tell item: Item that begins with the letter G or 6 of anything!
