Bienvenue Mes Copaines. Allons nous chanter des comptines et chansons. * This a flexible class and there are NO LIVE MEETINGS. Participation by uploading work to the classroom tab will be required. The material in this class is the same as my "Les Comptines & Chansons" French class, just in a FLEX format. Flex classes are great for young children who get easily distracted, need more time to complete a task, or just aren't ready for a live class yet. They are also great for those learners/parents that have busy schedules and want lessons at times most suitable for them. This class will offer your child a chance to sing and learn songs in French. Learners will discover two new French songs each week. Every MONDAY, students will be provided with a video to watch covering the curriculum of the week. Each video will be about 80% French and 20% English to ensure student comprehension. Students are encouraged to repeat along with the teacher while watching the video to get the most out of class. Lyrics/Videos will be shared to the classroom tab after class. Activity worksheets can be printed at home or completed online then screenshot and uploaded to the classroom to share with the teacher and classmates. Students are encouraged to video present their homework as a show n’ tell format and share it with the class, incorporating that lesson’s material. Examples of other interactions could include; “This or that” where learners would see two different adjectives or verbs and have to demonstrate their comprehension by video taping and explain with home objects. “Remix” will also be another interactive activity where students will creatively choreograph the song how they choose with their own gestures. There is no prior knowledge of French needed. This class is suitable for beginners and for those with little exposure to French looking to build vocabulary.
