In this Flex class, students will use the writing process to complete a creative writing piece. 

In this course, we will explore the different parts of the writing process. Students will create a writing piece. 

Week 1- Prewriting/drafting
Week 2- Revising/Editing
Week 3- Evaluating 
Week 4- Publishing 

Weekly Lessons: 
Each week I will provide videos demonstrating and explaining the part of the writing process we will be working on. Students are to use the video to help them complete the worksheet/writing for that week. Writing is to be submitted weekly for feedback. 
During week 4, students will submit their published draft of writing. Writing will have feedback, including grows and glows. 

Interaction in this Flex Class:
Videos and assignments will be posted weekly. Assignments are to be submitted weekly. Students will receive feedback on the assignment. 

Writing/worksheets will be checked and and feedback will be provided.

Supplies:
Students will need a notebook or line paper and a pencil. 

This is a Flex class with no live meetings.

Hello! My name is Brianna and I will be teaching a different elementary classes. I have been an Elementary School teacher for over fives years working with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I have a Master's Degree in Education and have my certification to teach History K-8 and Special Education. I hold current teaching licenses in New Jersey. I believe that learning is a life long journey. I hope to show students that learning is fun! When I am not teaching I love to do yoga and read a good book!
