We will work through the Singapore Math Curriculum which is aligned with the Common Core math standards. In addition to Singapore Math, this class will utilize other activities and strategies to teach math such as number talks to improve student number sense, and games to reinforce concepts. Our teaching style is "I do, we do, you do" through this method, the teacher will guide student learning to meet each student where they are at and differentiate their learning. Our classes become small families. It is important for students to come to class ready to participate in their learning with their cameras on and limited distractions around them.
