In this engaging and supportive writing class, learners will have the opportunity to expand their imaginations, stretch their thinking, share their ideas, and improve their writing skills. Even if your child isn’t ready to write independently or needs some support to put words on paper, this class is designed to support your child’s efforts and build their skills. - Students will learn and practice different types of writing and gain confidence to express their own ideas through words and drawing.
I am an experienced early childhood educator, literacy teacher, and science educator. For the last 10 years, I have been helping young children gain confidence by developing their knowledge, skills, and ability to express themselves creatively through writing and drawing.
All learners welcome! I am happy to differentiate the material in a wide variety of ways to support different learning needs. I allow for learners to express themselves in ways that help them participate to the best of their abilities.
A one page hand out will be provided for each class. Learners will also need a pencil for writing and drawing and crayons of pencil crayons for coloring their illustrations. Blank paper is also welcome.
