Join me in this first and second grade science adventure! This is semester three of the full curricula. Students do not have to have prior science knowledge to take this course. It is recommended, but not required, that students take the first and second semester of this curriculum before this course. Semester one is fantastic for introducing students to my classes with the hands-on activity component. 

Every lesson is interactive and includes a hands-on activity or experiment to help students visualize the lesson. I encourage students to share stories, experiences, and any artifacts that they may have for the weekly topic! I also encourage student-led learning, which leads to curiosity and creativity as we learn about new topics.
Each week I will post optional worksheets and extra activities in the classroom for students to complete, if they choose. This is helpful for students who enjoy the topics and would like to continue being a scientist throughout the week! 
I will be available to answer any questions that students post in the classroom within 24 hours. I also encourage students/parents to post pictures of their work or experiments in the classroom. This is a fun way for students to connect as well!

Week #8- Engineering Design: Marble maze 

 This course integrates first and second grade Next Generation Science Standards. My background is in developing science lessons that meet state standards, please feel free to reach out if your state uses different standards and you'd like me to apply them to this curriculum.
