In this ongoing course, students will become text detectives to improve their reading comprehension! Students will find the evidence from the weekly passage to prove their answers. GET $4 OFF THE FIRST WEEK WITH CODE WARD4U4. This class uses an active reading strategy – by color-coding our answers – with non-fiction informational text passages. - Students will demonstrate the ability to write answers in complete sentences. Students will be able to prove their answers by referring back to the text.
I have a 120hr TESOL certificate and two years of experience teaching ESL learners online for companies such as Palfish, VIPKid, GoGoKid, and Magic Ears in China, and Egg School in South Korea. I have also tutored students in local schools (ie., reading help, homework help, social skills).
Students will be provided with a 2-3 page PDF to print. They will need a pencil and either colored pencils or crayons for color-coding.
