In this financial literacy course, teens will learn the essential skills needed to manage their money responsibly, understand banking, and navigate credit and debt. The class covers everything from opening and managing bank accounts to understanding how credit works, including the differences between credit and debit cards, how loans function, and the potential dangers of debt. Through interactive activities like budgeting simulations and role-playing real-life borrowing scenarios, learners will gain practical experience in making smart financial decisions. What You’ll Learn: How to make and stick to a budget The ins and outs of opening and managing bank accounts Smart ways to use debit and credit cards How to borrow responsibly and avoid debt Tips for building a strong credit score This class is perfect for teens who want to get a head start on managing their money, saving smart, and making great financial choices! BULLYING __________ At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy, we’re all about creating a safe and welcoming space for every learner! Our strict NO BULLYING rule reflects our commitment to kindness and respect among classmates. Here’s how we handle behavior issues in a friendly way: Verbal Warning: If a student needs a gentle reminder about our expectations, we’ll start with a friendly verbal warning. Waiting Room/Break Room: If the behavior continues, the student might spend a little time in a waiting or break room. During this time, the teacher will chat with them to understand what’s going on and help them get back on track before returning to class. Removal from Class: If issues persist, we may need to remove the student from class. Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued in this case. We believe in giving everyone a chance to learn and grow, and together, we can ensure our academy remains a joyful place for all!

As a mom, she understands the importance of giving children outlets to interact with their peers and develop essential social skills. Driven by her passion for teaching, Miss Brandy set out to build an academy that blends fun with learning, using a teaching style that empowers students to come to class confident they can be themselves without judgment. Over the years, she has been fortunate to teach students from around the world, with diverse backgrounds and learning abilities, all of whom have shaped and enriched her approach.
At Miss Brandy’s Academy, each educator is truly unique and brings their own amazing strengths, insights, and enthusiasm to every class.
