Each week we will look at how we can redefine clothes from second-hand clothes to reinventing our clothes in our closets. We will also see how others have and still impact our choices in fashion. Week 1: How is your fashion unique for you? Homework: Find an sweater or sweatshirt that you would like to redefine. Think of ideas that you would like to do with your piece of clothing. Week 2: We will redefine our items of clothing and talk about how we can redefine a coat. Can in fact it be done, and what we must look for when picking out items to redefine. Homework: Find that jacket or coat that you want to redefine. Week 3: We will start on ways we can redefine our items of clothing. Homework: What styles have impacted how you dress? Week 4: Do people in the world impact our choices in fashion? Homework: Write a paragraph of how you want to impact fashion in your life. Week 5: Can redefining fashion be done on a budget? Homework: Find one item under $5 to redefine, redefine it and bring to class. Week 6: You count in the fashion world, how you can be heard and what impact that has on others.

I have taught fashion classes, and my goal is to build on that class, giving students confidence to create and embrace their own designs.
I loved fashion as a child: I would draw nearly every day. My Godmother encouraged me to draw every single day, and I would scribble my designs. I loved walking around Liberties in London, and I would look at fabric and be inspired to come up with a design. I want to inspire others that to be an individual in how we dress is a creative choice and that we can learn from the past and use designers' designs from the past to create a new era of fashion.Reseñas
