In this twelve week course, learners will read six young adult classics: Five Children and It by E. Nesbit, The Time Machine by HG Wells, The Portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Bau, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, and The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. In lessons 1-6, we will read the first chapter of each novel during class. In lessons 7-12, learners will compete in a trivia style, Kahoot competition on each novel and the learner with the most wins will be crowned the “Reading Rumble” champion.
