In this class, students will learn about various writing techniques and styles as they tackle essays, research papers, book reports, poetry, short stories and more! As an on-going class, a student can jump in and pick up with whichever type we are focused on that week. Also, if your child needs extra help with a certain type, take comfort in knowing that will come around again and we can work on it more! Learners will learn and discuss together in class, but I will communicate and give feedback privately with each individual student by message so that they do not have to worry about judgement from other students. Keep in mind, this class will require extra time outside of class to complete their writing projects and they may need to research topics or read a short book as well, depending on the type of writing we are focusing on.
