While Christmas shopping at the mall, you notice a display with a life-sized gingerbread house decorated with candy. Other kids are admiring it too, and since you're tired of shopping, you all decide to sneak inside the house to check it out, even though there is a sign outside that reads: "Do not enter----Home of Nutcracker." Once inside, you realize you are trapped. You must work together to solve problems and decipher codes to unlock different rooms and make your escape from the giant gingerbread house before the Nutcracker returns. This game is filled with puzzles and codes, and students will hear "Russian Dance," "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy", "Waltz of the Flowers", "March", and "Dance of the Flutes" from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite". No previous music knowledge is needed.

I have taught music history & theory, music appreciation, piano lessons, and other music courses from preschoolers to adults, over the past 15 years. I currently teach piano lessons, and music courses at a community college.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance, and a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy. My main instrument is the piano, but I also play the harp for fun, and I'm teaching myself to play the banjo. In my spare time, I enjoy discovering new music (the weirder the better!), modern art, eating dark chocolate, and figuring out how magic tricks are done!Reseñas
