Welcome to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! You've been invited for a special tour but get stuck inside the imagination room. To unlock the door you must find the combination for the lock. Look around the room for clues that will help you figure out the combination.

This class is a digital escape room. Learners will work to solve riddles, puzzles, cyphers and other secret codes based on the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Students DO NOT need to have read the book to participate. 

Clues are related to themes in the book but this escape room is for everyone.

Never read the book but you love all things sweet? This escape room is for you!

Class will begin with introductions and a ice breaker. We will then enter the escape room and review the rules of the game. Learners will work independently and together solving clues. Clues include riddles, word or picture puzzles, cyphers and/or other codes. Clues must be solved within a certain time limit to keep the game moving. If they are not, the teacher will share the answer. Each of the clues is a part of the final combination needed to unlock the door and escape.

In the event that learners finish early we will play a would you rather game or discuss topics related to the book.

NOTE:  Learners DO NOT need to have read the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to participate.
