⭐️ Welcome to the Environmental Science Book Club! ⭐️

Each month we will select a new environmental fiction and meet each week to learn and discuss.

Each session consists of a short lecture, where we learn more about an environmental problem that we saw in that week's reading assignment, and the rest of the class is centered around discussing the book. Topics include aquatic pollution, habitat loss/palm oil plantations, animal poaching, bioengineering, climate change, etc.

📚 Reading Level: Middle School - please see in-depth reading level information for each book below (scroll to the bottom of the description.

👉 Note: This is an on-going class and we introduce a new book every month. Upcoming books will be announced the month prior. At the end of the 2024/25 school year we will cycle back through the books. If your learner wants to jump in mid-month, we do a quick summary of each chapter so they can get a general idea of what's going on.
