By spinning the Wheel of Vocab, learners will see a phrase, read it, then speak as many words as possible related to the subject in 1 minute.  This class will move very fast, trying to remove all the topics from the wheel before the class time is up!

Learners will take turns listing vocabulary about the subject on  that shows on the wheel. They will then choose a peer to go next. The teacher may give an example at the beginning of class so the learners can hear in L1 English.  If the class clears the wheel, the teacher will guide the group to make more topics to try to speak about. 

Variations of this game may include the learners all writing vocabulary words in the chat box for 1 minute and/or working together as a group with the teacher listing answers on a whiteboard for all to see. One, a combination, or all variations may be used in any session.

The topics will all be on the Wheel of Vocabulary and screen shared by the teacher during class. Learners will not be clicking on links, visiting any websites, or logging into accounts.
