Clase de inglés para estudiantes ELL: habilidades de conversación cotidianas

Does your child need practice speaking English with an insightful and friendly certified teacher?  I use multi-sensory instruction to engage my learners. Multi-sensory instruction is a way of teaching that engages more than one sense at a time. Through the Outschool platform, learners will not only visually see me and the Canva slides, but they will hear me teaching and may hear audio on the slides. They may also be asked to find something around them that is soft, or moves (depending on the topic).  When we talk about food, I will bring food to my video screen to talk about it.  Learners will engage in meaningful conversation that can be used in everyday life.  Students may bring a favorite toy, or award to the first class.  Speaking in complete sentences is an important skill that will be taught. Listening to another person speak when it is their turn will also be taught.  I will use facial expressions, gestures and Canva slides to help facilitate each session. The goals of this conversational speaking class are to gain confidence speaking English with a native speaker, to communicate effectively with peers,  good pronunciation, correct sentence formation, and exposure to new vocabulary. 

The 8 week course topics are:

Week 1:  Greetings/Introductions/Foods
Week 2:  Daily Activities/My Hobbies
Week 3:  My Family/Holidays in my Country
Week 4:  Seasons and Weather/Clothes
Week 5:  Colors/Adjectives
Week 6:  Good Friends/Feelings
Week 7:  Transportation/Jobs and Occupations
Week 8: Comparing Shapes and Sizes/Prepositions
