Younger students will learn all about elephants through interactive and creative learning methods. Students will learn about elephants, their habitat, eating habits and family life. A focus will be on conservation. Students will learn also be part of an interactive simulation where they play the role of an elephant and see if they can survive realistic encounters in Africa. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At the end of the class students will learn how to draw an amazing elephant!

Students will learn all about elephants including the anatomy, feeding, behavior, habitat and bear family life both in the wild and also in refuges and zoos. Conservation is stressed throughout the course.
