¡Hola!

Come sing, move, and play games in Spanish in this 8-week course, the 2nd class of a six-part series!  We will take what we learned in Elementary Spanish Part 1 and extend our conversations.  In Part 2 we will learn how to talk about the weather, places in a city, clothing, and continue to have basic conversations.   “Elementary Beginner Spanish ~ Part 1” is preferred as a prerequisite or some introductory experience learning Spanish.  All classes will include singing and games to maintain high interest and have fun!  

Week 1 Topics:  
I know frequently used classroom phrases. 
I can recall previously learned concepts. (introductions, colors, and numbers)
I can name and count clothing items.

Week 2 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts. (clothing)
I can say how old I am.  (Tengo ___ años.)
I can talk about the weather. (Hace calor.  Hace frío.  Hace sol.  Está nublado.  Está lloviendo.  Hay tormenta.)
I can say what I wear. (Yo llevo ________.)

Week 3 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts. (clothing, weather, basic conversation)
I can say where I live.  (Yo vivo en __________.)
I can say what I wear and what people in my family wear. (llevo, lleva)

Week 4 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts. (weather, city places, basic conversation)
I can say where I go in the city.  (Voy a...)
I can name farm animals. 
I can describe farm animals by color.

Week 5 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts. (city places, farm animals)
I can have a conversation with 2 questions. 
I can describe farm animals by size. 
I can say where animals live.

Week 6 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts. (clothing, farm animals)
I can have a conversation with 2 questions. 
I can name body parts. 
I can say what animals wear. (lleva)

Week 7 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts. (clothing, animals, weather)
I can say if I like or don’t like animals and city places. (Me gusta ______.  No me gusta ________.)
I can learn about the final project. 

Week 8 Topics:
I can recall previously learned concepts.
I can create a project to demonstrate learning.
