✨Learners may join anytime! 🔹️Are you struggling or wondering how to teach your child English & writing concepts? This method will ease your mind and provide them with the foundation for speaking, reading, and writing. Let me explain how this easy writing practice time will work for your student: 👉This program focuses on English writing to provide simple and focused lessons weeding out the "fluffy" items that can stifle a learner's creativity. Each lesson will enable your student to build confidence and grasp concepts in a comfortable learning environment. There is no pressure to physically handwrite a paper, but I will partner with students to develop our ideas! After class, students have the option to write and upload their conclusion to myself or the classroom page. This is completely optional. 🔹️Students will be challenged and advance their paragraph development, writing knowledge, and grammar with encouragement. We will truly have fun learning to write together and boost students' "English" enjoyment in this ongoing practice time. 📝 Classes are ongoing and each class will have different concepts that will be presented while following our weekly format. Students may join at anytime. Class layout each week will be as noted: (All writing is on-screen for students. ) 1.) Picture of the Day: Engagement and Discovery Warm-up 2.) Brainstorm Paragraph Partnership: A guided exploration where we imagine, draw and design our ideas together. We will discover various elements of our paragraph each week. (adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, verbs, nouns, pronouns, and we will discuss why these help our writing flow) *After class I will upload our story to the classroom. 📍The goal of each class is to provide practice time for students in a comfortable and exciting way to approach writing! Students will build confidence and learn to write together with a partnership approach! There are no prerequisites for this class. I only want students to learn, have fun, encourage each other, and build their writing ideas. I will provide all concepts on-screen for students to see visually. We will partner together and explore our ideas. Interaction is key in learning writing and practice is always evolving for each of us. During our class time, I will provide guidance and positive reinforcement for students to blossom. ☆ Weekly Class Topics: 👇 See specific weekly schedule dates below! 📅 Thursday: 11/14/2024- (10:00am EST) Week 10 📅 Tuesday: 01/14/2025-(2:30pm EST) Week 1 Week 1: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Adjective dress up) Week 2: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Preposition challenge: bring an item to class) Week 3: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Adverb fun) Week 4: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Verb explosion) Week 5: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Pronoun helpers) Week 6: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Nouns are necessary) Week 7: Picture of the Day, Brainstorm Paragraph Practice (Who, what, where, when, and why?) Lista de útiles escolares
*There is a handout template on how we will write our paragraph in the classroom. You may print it out or bring along paper and a pencil if you'd like to handwrite our paragraph. This is optional as all writing will be provided on-screen. Students can bring a whiteboard, dry-erase marker, pencil, paper, crayons, markers, or any other writing utensils they would like. Often students like to draw pictures with their writing and this is encouraged to help those ideas flow more easily. Our partnership approach can bring out those creative ideas and make writing truly fun!

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Licenciatura desde Pennsylvania State University
As a homeschool mom for many years, I discovered the visual impact of writing and this simplistic approach to mastering concepts. Students are able to take this approach to write and master the concepts from elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. Writing is a developed skill that needs to be fostered carefully and is unique to each student. Sparking their creativity is key to grasping concepts, and I truly love connecting with each student to bring out their "writing" ideas.
I have also taught this approach to students at the college level who really never grasped the whole writing process. To see them finally understand and "get it" was amazing!
* There are no required books to purchase. I will write on-screen while facilitating our class.
