Fonética temprana: ¡Formando lectores!

In this ongoing class, learners will be able to practice their developing reading skills at their own pace. They will be provided with the tools and ability to ask questions in regards to reading. I have put together a reading program for early learners.  This class is highly engaging and fun! My hope is that your child will fall in love with reading. 

Learners who register for this class, should be familiar with all their letters and letter sounds. This is a wonderful class for learners who have started to string letters together to make words. This is also a great class for learners who have started to read "simple" sentences and books (for example: The Bob Books). 

This class alone will not teach learners how to read, however, it will give them a place to go for guided practice. As always, please reach out with any questions. 

Week of:

Week 1: rhyming, sentence structure, site words (you, am, for, by)
Week 2: syllables, site words (by, yes, I, no)
Week 3: blending, beginning and ending sounds, site words (a, he, an, did)
Week 4: CVC words (Ab and Ad), blending sounds, site words (get, its, my, on)
Week 5: CVC words (Ag and Am), diagraph SH, site words (go, has, into, him)
Week 6: CVC words (An and Ap), diagraph CH, magic E, site words (her, so, will, up)
Week 7: CVC words (At and Ee), diagraph TH, site words (if, do, how, an)
Week 8: CVC words (Ed and En), diagraph WH, site words (can, we, all, but)
Week 9: CVC words (Et and Ig), diagraphs CR, nouns, site words (not, is, it, in)
Week 10: CVC words (Id and Im), verbs, site words (of, or, had, at)
Week 11: CVC words (In and It), diagraph OU, adverbs, site words (with, as, on, then)
