I will offer feedback after students perform an exercise and, if needed, provide suggestions to help the student master the concept. Mistakes are a part of learning a musical instrument! So students should not worry if they play the exercise or a piece correct on the first try. Nivel Intermediate
Please note: This class is designed for early intermediate pianists. Contact the instructor to assess if this is the proper level. Prospective students should be familiar with major and minor triads/scales, chord inversions and one-octave arpeggios. Sight reading music is essential to this class so prospective students should be comfortable with reading music in the Level 4 Piano Adventures series. In this class, students will explore various pieces in the Baroque & Classical Eras. We'll discuss defining characteristics in both eras. Please note: We will be using Piano Literature Book 2 by Nancy & Randall Faber. Please see the class syllabus for weekly breakdown.

Minuet in G Major
We'll develop this famous piece by Christian Pezold (often attributed to JS Bach). This piece was considered dance music in the Baroque Era. 30 minutos de lección en vivo en línea

Prospective students should check in with the instructor beforehand to determine if the level of the class is appropriate. (Can the student play through Piano Adventures Level 4 material?)
