The Dyslexic mind is a marvelous thing. A person lucky enough to have this very specialized brain can see the world in a different way, they are excellent problem solvers and creators. This club is an opportunity to meet kids who are going through the same daily struggles, and to learn more about how to harness each child’s individual dyslexic advantage. I am offering this course after seeing the incredible interactions between my students who I tutor in “real life.” It is not a secret that students with dyslexia often feel embarrassed of their learning differences and I hope the time spent in my class will help my students learn that “different is NOT less.”
