There is no learner progress assessment in this Dungeons and Dragons (DnD, D&D) class.Experiencia de clase
Welcome to my Dungeons and Dragons class! Students will play a Dungeons and Dragons adventure using a free roll20.net account. I will post a link to the specific Roll20 game for each class. We will also use Zoom to interact with each other. I will be the Dungeon Master (the person who facilitates the game and ensures fair play. In the beginning of the first class I will go over the basics of roll20 and the rules of D&D and then revisit those rules whenever necessary. As the game progresses the following topic will be taught; team work, team building, public speaking, reasoning, critical thinking, math, problem solving, research skills and much more. Learners can expect challenging situations in every session that will push them to use the skills mentioned above. Below is a rough schedule of what will happen in sessions. Because this is Dungeons and Dragons and the adventure depends on what the players decide to do I cannot stick to a strict schedule. Week 1 players will build their characters, learn about adventuring, weapons, gear and armor Week 2 players will learn how combat actions and spells work along with how to interact with non-playable characters (NPCs) Week 3 players will learn how to work as a team to fight the big bad evil person. Week 4 players will learn team work, communication and other important skills. Week 5 players will learn about bargaining and other techniques. Week 6 players will continue the adventure using the skills learned in the previous weeks.
