Cómo dibujar texturas realistas de animales: pelaje (FLEX)

***Please note: This is a FLEX class! There are NO LIVE CLASSES*** The teacher will provide new, PRE-RECORDED lessons at the beginning of each week that can be watched, paused, and replayed at your convenience.

Do you find it difficult to draw fur or just want to learn to draw it more realistically? Come join this 4 week flex course where you will improve your pencil skills and learn how to draw four different animals while practicing different types of fur. Any level of artist is welcome to join! 

WEEK 1: Long fur - Sloth 
WEEK 2: Short fur - Horse
WEEK 3: Medium fur - Red fox
WEEK 4: Thick fur - Cat

Students will be provided with a pre-recorded video lesson and reference photo every Monday by 12 PM Central Time. Each video will have a step-by-step guide on how to draw that week's animal starting with the basic geometrical shapes and including tips on finding proper proportions and techniques on how to draw that week's specific fur texture. Throughout the videos the teacher will also share fun facts about the animal we're drawing, along with tips on using different pencil techniques. 

At the end of each week, students will be required to upload a picture or video of their drawing progress to the classroom with a short statement of what they have learned and what was a challenge for them. Students are encouraged to post specific questions they may have in the chat that can be answered by both the teacher and fellow students.  

At the end of the course, each student will receive a 5-10 minute personalized video critique from the teacher. In this way, learners will get highly detailed and specific feedback on what they’re doing well and how to further improve their artwork.
