Draw me! Autumn Gnome is a one time directed drawing class that runs from October through Thanksgiving. Students will draw this scarecrow gnome from a simple shape, choose a color palette, create a simple plaid pattern, and learn coloring techniques to create texture. I use slides as well as live drawing/coloring demonstration to guide students through each step of creating their illustration. I can provide guidance on coloring with markers, colored pencils and crayons. I try to make each class engaging and easy to follow along with. What you will need for class: paper pencil eraser colored pencils, crayons, or markers

Hi, My name is Candi, and I'm an art teacher here on Outschool. I can't wait to meet you! I have new seasonal classes ready, and more clubs and classes coming soon!
I have a BA in Communications with an Art/2D Design emphasis, and I'm a TESOL certified ESL teacher.
I may be new to the outschool platform, but not to teaching!
I have been a guest teacher in multiple educational environments for over 20 years including public schools, Montessori, and most recently online as an English teacher. I have had the opportunity to teach many grade levels and subjects. Art has always been my favorite subject to teach. I love to see the progress my students make when I show them a drawing "hack."
I'm patient, innovative, thorough, and always encouraging! I think learning should be fun, and I strive to design my lessons and teaching style to be the teacher I wished I would have had.
When I'm not teaching, I'm creating art for my classroom, playing with my cat and co-teacher, Daisy, or working on more great classes for you! I can't wait to see you in class!Reseñas
