Hello! I'm Tarshai Peterson, a passionate theatre educator and performing artist with over ten years of experience in arts education. With a BFA in Theatre from Bennett College and an MA in Educational Theatre from NYU, I've had the privilege of teaching drama to students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade. My journey has taken me through various classrooms and stages, where I've worked with young people to explore the magic of storytelling, performance, and creativity.

In my classes, I believe that drama is more than just an art form—it's a powerful tool for learning, self-expression, and personal growth. As an Outschool teacher, my students will have a safe space where they can dive into the world of drama and discover the treasure within themselves.
