¡Acuarelas con temática de princesas de Disney! Clase de arte semanal

Hello Disney princess lovers! In this live ongoing class, students will receive step-by-step instruction to create a Disney Princess themed painting each week using watercolors mixed with crayons or oil pastels and Sharpie markers. Students may receive templates to help their shapes depending on the week. Projects will include a printout of the Disney princess of the week to glue onto their creation but the painting itself will be a themed background for the princess to be placed in (Ex: floating lantern scene for Rapunzel)

This class will meet each week to create a new Disney Princess masterpiece. 

You may join at any time and cancel at any time! You do not need to attend prior classes to join at any time for their favorite Disney Princess.  Although students will gain more art comfort and understanding the more classes they attend, each class can stand alone on it's own. Plus students get to chat about their favorite Disney princesses 👸!  We will also discuss painting techniques and using a paintbrush during each class as well as talking about basic shapes, colors, and color mixing. I love using a very relateable teaching technique. Kids love to talk about things they love. It makes learning and art time fun and interesting!

IMPORTANT! Students should come to class with their workspace already prepped and ready to be creative and have fun! PLEASE PRE-MOISTEN THE WATERCOLORS. Students are not required to share their work but we will certainly share by quickly showing them to the class if time allows. (lifting watercolor masterpieces can cause the paint to run so taping it down can help avoid any accidents).

MATERIALS:
9x12in WATERCOLOR Paper (NOT printer paper or cardstock. This will be very important!) Link is in the Supplies list if needed
Pencil/Eraser
Oil Pastels OR Crayons (I love Pentel or Crayola)
Watercolors (any watercolor cake set is fine but my favorite is Faber-Castell)
Small amount of WHITE acrylic (optional to add "sparkles" OR glitter glue is an easy/fun option too!!)
Sharpie Marker or other black permanent marker
Brushes of various sizes (at least one big & wide brush and 1 smaller)
Paper Towel
Water in Cup
Prepped and lined workstation (use newspaper to cover the work area)
Printed Sheet (provided the day before class!)
