Nivel Beginner

In this one time course, students will take a deep dive into the world of dinosaurs! We will focus on a different dinosaur and will include a simple story, interactive games, and fun facts about each dinosaur.

Tyrannosaurus Rex. Activities include short story or passage, 3 -5 facts, mini lesson, interactive games, and vocabulary. 

Stegosaurus. Activities include short story or passage, 3 -5 facts, mini lesson, interactive games, and vocabulary. 

Velociraptor. Activities include short story or passage, 3 -5 facts, mini lesson, interactive games, and vocabulary. 

Sample schedule 25 minutes
5 minutes - Welcome and Dino of the Day
15 minutes- Mini lesson (vocabulary, reading, sorting) 
5 minutes- review & closing

Hi everyone! Welcome to class! I am Miss Kate. I have 15+ years of teaching experience with students ages 2-14 years old. I am passionate about early childhood education and building the foundation for life long learning. My classes will be engaging and focus on a variety of topics including early literacy, early math and life skills. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and 3 (yes, three) big dogs!

I believe in engaging and playful learning and will teach my classes in a fun and interactive way including songs, digital & interactive games, and lots of interaction and opportunities for engagement. 

I am certified to teach K-8 Elementary, K-12 Special Education and Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have a certificate in Child Psychology from Penn Foster, a certificate in Autism Studies from Arizona State University and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University. I love to teach and look forward to meeting your child!
