This course is designed for students to take their photography to the next level. We will learn concepts that give us more knowledge and hence flexibility in practicing photography. I will teach students how to take pictures in Sunlight, Excel in portraiture, finding unique perspective, using pop-up flash in the best way, white balance and shutter speed photography.

Following is the breakdown of what topics will be covered each week:

📚Using screen share, students are able to see the slides. I introduce the topic(s) we're going to cover in a class, then we go in details while answering questions and then we end with analyzing the pictures based on the topics covered in that class. This class is ideal for students who already know the basics of photography, understand their DSLR camera and are ready to understand more new concepts in photography.

🖥We have student photo submission day, this where each student gets to shine and show their work to everyone while explaining what inspired them. This is a very important part of learning due to the feedback from me and fellow students, they get encouragement and motivation to do more & better.

🇺🇸 Hi! I am Rafia, based in Austin, Texas, USA 🇺🇸

📚 I am a Kent State University Alumna where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (Dean's List), with minor in Information Visualization and Data Structures. I am PCEP Certified by Python Institute, earned a "Python for Data Science" Certification from Data Quest and an "Introduction to ChatGPT" Certificate from edX.

🖥 I am a Technology course instructor here on Outschool since 2019. I have instructed over 1K+ students in live sessions on Python Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, ChatGPT & Photography courses. I host synchronous and asynchronous coding sessions for creating Python based games and projects with my students. My passion for Coding, Technology and Photography, is what drives me to teach a variety of classes on Outschool and you'll see my coursework reflective of that. 

📸 I was a Business Owner and Manager from 2015 to 2022, based initially in Chicago, IL and then in Austin, TX. I was solely responsible for communication, branding, advertising, social media engagement and managing 10+ editing projects at a time.

👩🏽‍💻 My aspiration to push myself out of my comfort zone led to opportunities of teaching clients online with multiple organizations. Thats where my love for online teaching began and grew and I have now been doing for 5+ years now.

📝 My life goal is to inspire young minds to learn, grow and change the world in their own way. In my classes opinions matter a lot and thinking outside the box is key. I believe, good education is vital for success and building young leaders.

🏞 I am very fond of traveling, sightseeing, singing, hiking, weight lifting, checking out local museums & cafés and reading interesting new science and discovery articles.
