Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! 🎄 In this one-time class, learners will follow along with me to create a step-by-step "Santa sleigh and reindeer" animation using Procreate. *For this class, I have provided you all with a cute template which has all the pieces we will need to complete this animation. Please be sure to download this from the Classroom Discussion Board prior to the class meeting time to ascertain it’s compatible with your iPad and that you’ll be ready for class!* Learners will need to come to class prepared to follow the instructions alongside the other learners in the group as there are many steps to this one! We will work step-by-step together to create this animation, and at the end everyone will have an opportunity to be Spotlighted to showcase their work. All comments will be positive and uplifting! If a learner doesn't prefer to talk they can use basic gestures like thumbs up/down or head nods and shakes. This class is perfect for learners who have used the Procreate application, but would like to learn more about using Animation Assist to create their own animations. If you don't see a time that works for your learner's schedule, please send me a message or feel free to use the auto-scheduling feature! The drawing app Procreate is used in this class. It can be purchased and downloaded from the Apple App Store. Please make sure that your iPad model is sufficient for creating animations with many layers.

My name is Rachel and I teach drawing, painting, sketching, and animating using the Procreate app on iPad. Learners may join with another drawing application or traditional materials, whatever they prefer!*

*For lessons that include "Procreate" in the description, the application is a requirement of the class.
Except for 2D Animation Club, if a learner is confident in another animation application they may choose to join with it. However, I will not be troubleshooting other apps during these lessons.
