In the “Design Your Sensory Menu” 1:1 class, teens aged 12-18 will explore and understand their unique sensory preferences and sensitivities in a guided setting. This interactive and highly personalized session is crafted to empower students to manage their own sensory experiences and needs more effectively. I offer insights and strategies from my lived experience of AuDHD to make this Design a Sensory Menu class a supportive and empowering environment for neurodivergent teens. I understand the diverse needs and perspectives of my learners and use my background to foster a space where everyone can thrive, creatively express themselves, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Personalized, flexible teaching is used to support ALL neurotypes. Using visual aids, sensory-friendly activities, and interactive discussions, I adapt to each student's needs, fostering self-awareness and sensory management.
