Hello Teens!! It's time to splurge! And if you're going to go for dessert, make it delicious! In this 6-week FLEX course, you will learn to prepare/bake 6 different decadent desserts. 

We'll explore a variety of recipes from a chocolatey-brownie nugget, to summery-strawberry-cake, to the multi-dimensional crazy cheesecake bars. No prior cooking experience is needed as we learn together how to properly measure and incorporate our ingredients. 

Because this is a FLEX course, there are no live meetings. All lessons are pre-recorded, by me, in my own kitchen. This is the perfect setting for learning to bake, as you can pause, skip back, and skip ahead in the video as necessary. 

Each recipe will have 2 videos: The first video will be 2-4 minutes, where I lay out the ingredients and make suggestions as to preferred brands or possible substitutions, etc. The second video will be a full-length cooking video designed in such a way that your student can cook right along with me. The only time edited out will be for baking in the oven or cooling in the fridge, etc. 

Once a week on Fridays @ 8am EST for 6 weeks, I will upload 3 items into our online classroom: 1) Our recipe, 2) A recipe preview video that showcases our ingredients, and 3) The full-length baking video/videos.

You are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and express your own preferences for different foods by way of commenting on our classroom posts. You'll enjoy uploading pictures of your finished recipes and seeing your classmates' dessert pictures as well! Maybe you made some changes or additions to my recipes?
