In this one-time class we will learn about dark matter. We will explore what we know about dark matter, what it is, how we detect it, and how it shapes our universe. Learners will be introduced to important cosmological concepts such as spacetime, expansion, and types of matter. 

We will investigate questions such as:

What is gravity?
What is matter and dark matter?
How do we measure matter?
How does matter influence spacetime?
What do we know dark matter is not?
How do we study dark matter?

The class is lecture and discussion based. Learners will view and participate in a presentation full of images and some videos. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and think critically about space!
