In this class, learners will focus on CVC words. Word Families - Focus On: -ag, -ig, -og, -ug. CVC words are essential to learning how to transform sounds into words. This phonemic awareness skill is vital to learning how to blend and read. Learn how to read CVC words through blending letter sounds, engaging activities, games, and lots of repetition. Students will need to print the weekly activity to practice each word family. If you are unable to print, you will need some paper and writing tools. Your child should have a whiteboard, marker, and eraser to practice words during class. Your child will need a tub of playdough, crayons, and a pencil.
