Looking for a way to connect with your friends online to celebrate? Have you made new friends on Outschool and want to celebrate your birthday together? A virtual birthday party filled with fun, games, crafting and a little dancing is the perfect option for you! Together we will celebrate our special friends birthday as they get put on their birthday hat or crown as well as share in all of their friends singing happy birthday! Additionally, as a group we will spend our time playing games, dancing, crafting and other activities such as: - playing simon says - scavenger hunts - creating our own treasure chests - freeze dancing and MORE (or other) -- as request by the birthday friend! NOTE: The length of time can change based on learner/family need (ex. 45 min or 1 hour)

Learners will only require supplies should the birthday child opt for craft. Supply list will be sent to all participants in advance of the birthday party date so they are able to obtain the correct supplies. In general most crafting options require: - tape/glue - scissors - coloured paper - markers/crayons - other (craft depending)

Hi! My name is Heather! I have been both enjoying and working as a non-traditional educator for nearly 10 years. I strongly believe in the value of learning in non-traditional settings and am always looking for ways to improve myself as both a student and educator.
Over the years, I have earned certifications as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Swim Instructor, First Aid Instructor and many more!
I teach everything health and wellness as elementary education skills including; basic swim skills, first aid, instructor and mentor new aquatics instructors as well as nutrition, movement skills, fitness, math, science and more! I am very passionate that everyone is capable of achieving their goals, however, the process we take to get there is what makes our journeys unique.
Outside of work, I am at my happiest when surrounding by water. I enjoy swimming, boating and anything outdoor adventure around water.
I alter my teaching style to meet the needs of the student(s). I strive to engage children through games and interactive activities but have created a flexible curriculum that can be altered at any time to better suit my students.
