Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de crear platos de cocina. Desde bocadillos hasta platos cocinados, cada semana profundizaremos en una receta nueva y emocionante, todas preparadas por los estudiantes.

Chicken Tostadas 
Tostadas
1 large yellow onion
1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic or 3 fresh garlic cloves
14 ounce can diced tomatoes
4 chipotles in Adobo plus 2 Tablespoons of the sauce
1 Tablespoon lime juice
¾ teaspoons salt
3 large chicken breasts about 1 ½- 2 pounds, cooked and shredded
up to ½ cup chicken broth

Toppings all optional
shredded lettuce
fresh cilantro
fresh tomatoes
salsa green or red- we prefer green on these
sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
avocados
cotija or other cheese
beans of choice

Sausage Broccoli Foil Packets
1 head Broccoli, cut into florets
13 oz sausage
1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
2 tbsp. Olive Oil

Dorito Taco Salad
Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
1 Can of pinto beans
Taco Seasoning
1 Can of Corn
Tomatoes
Lettuce
Chopped Onions
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Nacho Cheese Doritos
French Dressing ( Optional)

July 28- August 3
Marry Me Chicken
4 pcs - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 Tbsp. - avocado oil
salt and black pepper, to taste
4 cloves - garlic, minced
¼ cup - chopped sundried tomatoes
1 cup - spinach leaves
1 cup - heavy cream
½ cup - grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp - dried basil
1 tsp - dried oregano
fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

August 4- August 10
Mexican Chicken and Rice Bake
1 cup  of long grain rice
2 cups of chicken stock
1 canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
small handful of fresh chopped coriander (cilantro)
2 uncooked chicken breasts, sliced into cutlet
 (2oz) of mozzarella, grated
 (1oz) of cheddar, grated
cooking oil spray
salt and pepper to season
Enchilada Sauce:
 (1 cup) of canned crushed tomatoes (or use passata and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste)
 (¾ cup) of chicken stock
1 tablespoon of paprika
1.5 teaspoons of cumin
1 teaspoon of oregano
½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper (use more of less depending on your spice level)
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey

1-2 lbs. of meat ( Beef,Turkey,Chicken)
2 Eggs
Oats or Bread Crumbs
1/2 Cup of milk
garlic powder
onion powder

September 1- September 7
Walking Tacos
1 pound ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
6 (1.75 ounce) packages nacho cheese-flavored corn chips (such as Doritos)
1 (8 ounce) package taco cheese blend
2 tomatoes, diced
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
