In this ongoing class, learners will create their own Pokemon in three different steps: - Brainstorm Ideas: Pokemon Type, Abilities, Description, Name - Design and draw an original Pokemon - Craft a Description and Background for the Pokemon (Where does it come from? What's its personality? Does it evolve or did it evolve?) After we finish creating our original Pokemon, each learner will have a minute to share their work with the class. This class is ongoing and encourages students to...
- Through this class, learners will use academic planning/brainstorming skills to plan their Pokemon, creative writing skills to describe their Pokemon, and finally their designing/art skills to draw their Pokemon.
Stephanie has been a secondary school teacher for a decade, teaching English and History to middle and high school. She is a mom of three kids who love Pokemon and Minecraft. She's also an avid gamer and a published author.
Art supplies such as pencils, colored pencils, crayons, markers or a means to create digital art.
