This test preparation class will be 1 on 1 with student and teacher.  My target audience for this class is elementary and middle school students. We will be focused specifically on the content of the upcoming test or quiz they need to prepare for.  I am qualified to cover all subjects up to 8th grade.  
My class is structured according to the student's learning style.  I intentionally schedule my classes as one hour and five minutes so that we may use a few minutes to answer some questions and discuss the best way they learn.  After that is understood, I will then use teaching strategies and activities so that your child can quickly retain the information they will need to demonstrate on their assessment.  For example, if the students learns best through auditory learning, we will work a lot with reading important information out loud and then summarizing them in our own words.  
I try to keep my class fast-paced and fun.  It is only an hour so every minute counts. Coaching is my style of teaching. I show knowledge through actions and activities as a team between teacher and student. If the student responds to incentives, I will use a points system for students to track their progress and reach their goal within the hour.  I have seen a lot of success in this type of competition with themselves. I also like to relate content to what the student is interested in.  If they are more invested in the session, they are more likely to remember it.
Students will be interacting with me the entire session.  Even if a slide is up for the student to view, I will be supporting them through the entire process.
