This is an ongoing class structured to be casual yet informative. Although the primary focus is sustainability as it relates to fashion, content will vary from week-to-week depending on student interest. Below is an outline: September 3rd: Sourcing ⇢ Unpacking the fashion supply chain. September 10th: Communications ⇢ Greenwashing! What is it and how does it happen? September 17th: Transparency ⇢ An exploration of sustaianbility reporting. September 24th: Policy ⇢ What role does regulation play in achieving sustainability? October 1st: Advocacy ⇢ How can people support industry change? I encourage students to lead the conversations with topics of interest. However, I will guide the flow and occasionally lecture or share supplemental media. This stated, there is no formal homework. Students can join as often or as little as they would like to learn!

This is a conversational class for students interested in the fashion industry. My goal is to facilitate space for student-led learning based upon my 10+ years of experience and education. While content will vary each week, the focus is on environmental and social impacts to better prepare students for a future in the industry.
