In this one time class, students will learn about the 3D shapes, including sphere, cone, cylinder, and cube.  We will look at the shapes and talk about them.  I will show the students every day objects that are the 3D shapes we learn about. We will also complete a picture sort, identifying each shape.  As the teacher, I will guide the students through making each shape using toothpicks and playdough.
For this class, the learner will need toothpicks and playdough.
