1 hora por semana. Students will be given worksheets to print out after the class to reinforce their learning. Because this class meets once, this is optional and they have the choice to send their homework to me to look over. They will get a vocabulary list that goes over everything they have studiedEvaluación
I do not routinely give an assessment at the end of the class. However, if a student or parent would like an assessment, they may request one by emailing me.Experiencia de clase
With a little bit of experimenting, I have combined two learning methods into one, both to help the learner succeed and master the Japanese language and understand the Japanese culture. This class is designed to help the student become fluent in Japanese and to understand the culture behind not only the language but also the people. I will first put the student into a situation and then give them sentences to respond to those situations. The sentences will then be broken down into vocabulary and grammar. Each lesson will focus on one or two grammar points with more situations as examples. In this lesson, they will also learn the next five letters of the Japanese alphabet. In this lesson, students will be able to: Week 1: 1. Learn the greetings for the afternoon, evening and morning (both formal and informal) 2. Learn how to address people (mr./ms. boy, girl and teacher). 3. Learn how to introduce themselves to a new person 4. Learn how to say excuse me and I'm sorry 5. Learn the letters あ,い,う,え,お Week 2: 1. Learn how to say Thank you and You're welcome 2. Learn how to say Please 3. Learn how to place a subject in the sentence 4. Learn how to say this 5. Learn how to add information 6. Learn the next five letters of the alphabet かーこ Week 3: 1. Learn how to say this 2. Learn how to add information to noun or object 3. Refer to an adjective 4. Learn the letters が, ぎ, ぐ, げ, ご Week 4: 1. Learn how to respond when you are about to eat 2. Learn how to refer to things near you, close to someone else and far away 3. Learn to ask if something is okay. 4. Learn how to ask where something is 5. Learn さ, し, す, せ, そ Week 5: 1. Review of previous lessons and use exasperations with the review 2. Talking about the weather 3. How to say Umm in Japanese 4. Asking how old someone is 5. Learn the hiragana letters ざ,じ,ず,せ,ぞ
