Have you ever heard the saying "Laughter is the best medicine"? It's true! Laughter is good for our body, mind and spirit. This Ongoing Comedy Club will have participants sharing jokes & riddles and we'll talk about what makes them funny. Do you know a good pun? Share it with us so we can all have a good laugh. 🤣 This relaxed setting will allow participants to have fun & laugh as we share & listen to different jokes. Week of June 19- We will taIk about knock knock jokes then I will start off with a couple of riddles to get the club going, next I will ask for volunteers to share their riddles or jokes. Week of June 26 - We will talk about what puns are and what makes them funny. Each meeting we will also look at a "Fun Pun of the Day!" and talk about the play on words or the multiple meaning words that make the pun funny. Participants will be encouraged to share puns, riddles or other jokes. Week of July 3 - We will talk about cartoon humor and share jokes about different cartoon characters such as "Why can't you give Elsa a balloon?" Give up? Because she'll let it go! 😂 Participants will be encouraged to share puns, riddles or other jokes. Week of July 10 - We will share "What's the difference between" jokes. Such as "What's the difference between an alligator and a crocodile?" Give up? You'll see one later and one in a while! 🤣 Participants will be encouraged to share puns, riddles or other jokes. I ask that each participant please have at least 3 jokes, riddles or puns to share with the rest of the club each time they attend. The expectation is that each participant will share jokes, puns or riddles that are age appropriate and not offensive.
